"The Tradition Continues"
The Crickets are a member of the Western Cloverbelt Conference and play during the WIAA Spring Season. Head Coach of the Crickets is Rick Storlie. He is entering his 23rd season as head coach. Coach Storlie is a 1982 graduate of Winona State University. He has an overall record of 243-190 in guiding the Crickets. Coach Storlie is in the "Top Forty Active Coaches" for wins in Wisconsin baseball. He served as junior varsity coach for his first three seasons here at Fall Creek under then head coach Bob Miller. Coach Storlie took over the reigns in 1989 as he led the Crickets to their first ever appearance into the State Baseball Tournament. There they ended up finishing State Class C Runners-up. The Crickets also made a return trip tot he state tournament in 1998 where they lost to Wisconsin Heights in the semi-final round.
Matt Prissel will be the junior varsity coach for the Crickets again this season. Coach Prissel is a 2000 graduate of Fall Creek High School and was a three year varsity starter and letter winner for the Crickets. He was a member of the 1998 state team. This will be his sixth season as j.v. coach.
The Crickets last won the Western Cloverbelt Conference championship in 2007. Coach Storlie has guided two teams to the WIAA State Finals in 1989 and in 1998. In 1989, the Crickets finished as state runners-up! Under Storlie, the Crickets have won seven conference titles, six regional championships and two sectional crowns.
